Dr. Ellen Annandale of Leicester University

Dr. Ellen Annandale's extensive research background in the areas of gender & health, illness & health, the social organisation of medical and nursing work, division of labour, consumerism and trust have established her as an authority in the health policy field. She currently teaches at the University of Leicester in the Department of Sociology while also preparing the second edition of The Sociology of Health and Medicine. Currently, Dr. Annandale holds the positions of editor-in-chief for the journal of Social Science & Medicine and Vice-President of the Research Committee 15 (Sociology of Health and Illness) of the International Sociological Association.

Cancellations up to Oct. 1, fees will be reimbursed less a $25 processing fee for students and a $50 processing fee for regular delegates. Cancellations after Oct. 2 fees will not be reimbursed.
